New York Fashion Week 2014 Report: Weekend Round-Up: Color

Whether color took center stage or it was used as a bold accent, it was an emerging trend from the shows this weekend at New York Fashion Week.  Intense color from the likes of Ruffian, Rag and Bone and Helmut Lang made a splash on the runway and we can’t help but be excited! Rich orange tones took the spotlight in many of the collections that walked and I’m betting there is more to come.

Color can evoke emotion.  Color can allow us to express our mood.  Color can make a statement.  What color helps you make yours?

Love a neutral outfit with a pop of color from a handbag or shoe. Can’t wait to see what the rest of fashion week brings!

I’d have to say that purple is my go-to statement color but love the bright green blouse above. Such a cute look!
